Dr. Tyrrell graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Marine and Freshwater Biology from the University of New Hampshire before earning his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from the Atlantic Veterinary College in Prince Edward Island, Canada, where he developed a keen interest in diagnostic imaging.
After completing a rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery at VCA Veterinary Specialists of Connecticut, he transitioned into private practice.
After several years of owning his own practice, he decided to return to his passion for radiology and pursued a diagnostic imaging internship at the University of Missouri. He is now continuing his training as part of our residency program. Outside of work, he enjoys fishing, golfing, hiking, and following the greatest college football team, “The” Ohio State Buckeyes.
