Our Resident of Radiology, Dr. Walzthoni, was born and raised in Newfoundland, Canada.
She completed a Bachelor of Science (Honors) at the Memorial University of Newfoundland and completed her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at the Atlantic Veterinary College in Prince Edward Island. She then moved back home and completed rotating and diagnostic imaging internships at the Veterinary Specialty Centre of Newfoundland and Labrador. She went on to practice as an emergency veterinarian at the VCA Canada Calgary Animal Referral and Emergency (CARE) Center until she joined our residency program. She has strong interests in both diagnostic imaging and emergency medicine alike. Outside of veterinary medicine, she spends her time hiking in the summer and skiing in the winter. She loves to spend time with her family and two cats - Zoey and Boo-berry.
