Residency Program at IEVI

IEVI provides candidates with the ideal environment for professional growth, and our program is designed to meet and exceed all ACVR residency requirements. In addition, our goal is to ensure proper training and preparation for the resident to become a clinical radiologist and to grow skill set in all imaging modalities to optimize patient diagnosis and care.

Our residency program is led by Dr. Jeff Siems, DACVR, Dr. Paxton Harness, DACVR, and is supported by Dr. Krystina Stadler, DACVR out of our partner hospital Summit Veterinary Referral Center in Tacoma, Washington. This program includes 30 months of clinical training with 6 months for scholarly activity to include out rotations for large animal imaging, MRI and offsite courses in nuclear medicine as well as study time for board preparation, mock exams and vacation.

IEVI is a veterinary diagnostic imaging practice specializing in ultrasound, CT, digital radiography, and radiographic interpretation. Our imaging equipment includes two Cannon digital radiograph suites with Asteris Keystone PACS, a Toshiba Aquilion 16 slice CT, and three ultrasound units (Samsung RS85, Toshiba Aplio 500, Aloka Alpha 7). We provide services to veterinarians across a large network of referral partners in Washington, Idaho, Montana and Canada. We are located in a multi-specialty hospital featuring three surgeons, a clinical pathologist, two internists, an oncologist, a dermatologist, a criticalist, and a robust emergency department.
