Common Questions

Q.  Will I speak with the radiologist regarding my pet?
A.   Similar to human medicine, the radiologist will contact your pet's veterinarian as soon as possible following the imaging exam.  Your pet's primary caregiver will then discuss the results of the imaging study with you.

Q.  How will I receive the results of my pet's imaging study?
A.  Upon request we can email your imaging results.

Q.  How do I schedule/change/cancel an imaging study?
A.  Please call 509-326-3427 and speak with our receptionist.

Q. How do I get to Inland Empire Veterinary Imaging?
A.  From I-90 take exit 281 north. Go north until you reach Mission Avenue (about 2 miles). Our office is on the corner of Mission and Ruby.  From north Spokane, follow Hwy 395/Division Street south to Mission.  Our office entrance is on the corner of Division and Mission.

Q. What are payment options for my imaging study?
A.  Payment is due at the time of service. We accept cash, check, debit/credit card (Visa, Master Card, Discover), and Care Credit.

Q.  Will I have to withhold food?
A.  Yes, we request removing food ideally 12 hours before the imaging study.  Free choice water is okay.

Q.  How long is an imaging study?
A.  This is dependent on the type of study.  From the time you drop your pet off, anticipate 2-4 hours for an ultrasound exam, and 4 hours to all day for a CT exam. Unforeseen emergencies could affect when your pet's study is performed.

Q.  Who should I contact in case of an emergency?
A.  Call your veterinarian first. If after hours or on weekends call the Pet Emergency Clinic  509-326-6670

If you have more questions, you can call us at 509-326-3427 or message us on Facebook.
