When away from the office he enjoys traveling, spending time with his family, the outdoors, hunting, and fishing. Dr. Natasha Walzthoni DVM, Resident of Radiology Bio: Dr. Walzthoni was born and raised in Newfoundland, Canada. She completed a Bachelor of Science (Honors) at the Memorial University of Newfoundland and completed her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at the Atlantic Veterinary College in Prince Edward Island. She then moved back home and completed rotating and diagnostic imaging internships at the Veterinary Specialty Centre of Newfoundland and Labrador. She went on to practice as an emergency veterinarian at the VCA Canada Calgary Animal Referral and Emergency (CARE) Center until she joined our residency program. She has strong interests in both diagnostic imaging and emergency medicine alike. Outside of veterinary medicine, she spends her time hiking in the summer and skiing in the winter. She loves to spend time with her family and two cats - Zoey and Boo-berry.

Mary Vawter Practice Manager Mary came to work for IEVI in October of 2000 as a transcriptionist, and in 2006 we added manager to her title. She enjoys spending time with her husband, kids, and grandkids: cooking, baking, and building forts. When she has some down time she likes to crochet.
Stephanie Altamirano Lead Licensed Veterinary Technician
Stephanie joined our team in March of 2020. She has been a credentialed veterinary technician since 2014 after graduating from College of Southern Idaho. She has a wide variety of experience including exotics, emergency and specialized practice. Stephanie spends her free time with her husband, 2 kids, 3 dogs and 1 cat. They like to get outside snowboarding, mushroom hunting and biking.
Amber Porphy Licensed Veterinary Technician
Amber joined our team in January 2020. She was born and raised in Pennsylvania, but has lived all over the U.S. After graduating high school, she joined the U.S. Air Force and served two tours in Iraq. Since then, Amber obtained a License as a Veterinary Technician and a Radiologic Technologist for human medicine. In her free time, Amber enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking, bike riding, and playing sports.
Heather Robb Veterinary Assistant Heather started working at veterinary clinics at the age of 15 and started at IEVI in 2008. She has a mini zoo of farm animals, including her Gypsy Vanner horses which she breeds. In her spare time she enjoys riding her horses, cooking, and spending time outdoors with her son.
Lindsey Dearfield Veterinary Assistant
She moved from western Washington to Spokane in 2018, and joined the IEVI team in April of 2020. She has worked in the veterinary field for over 15 years, primarily in specialty. Coming to work to care for your pets is her passion. At home she has two kids, two cats, and one dog. When she isn't caring for you pets, she can be found adventuring the outdoors with her family.
